The Austree hybrid willow is a cross between the corkscrew willow (Salix matsudana) and the white willow (Salix alba).

The Austree hybrid willow can grow 50 to 70 feet tall by 30 feet wide and can grow anywhere in the U.S., zones 3-9. are great for a fast windbreak or a privacy hedge.

The 10” aussie hybrid willow cuttings get planted 9” or so in the ground. Only the top bud or two is above the soil level. This gets the roots established deep in the ground and off to a good start, which is very important the first year.
