The S. petiolaris x S. eriocephala “Americana” willow is a male Hybrid cross of Salix petiolaris “meadow willow” with Salix eriocephala “missouri river willow”.

The “Americana” willow tree can grow to 10 feet tall and grows anywhere in U.S. zones 4-11. We coppice ours every year and get 5 to 6 foot slender rods in a season, great for basketry.
